VITALITY THROUGH THE REFLEXES
During the 1920's, Stanley Burroughs studied Oriental medicine and brought the technique to the West. Vita Flex involves the gentle pressing and rolling of the fingertips upon the body's surface at specific meridians or reflex points.
The theory of Vita Flex utilizes the fact that the human skin is piezoelectric. That is, when slight pressure is applied to the body surface, a voltage is generated, and electric charges move accordingly. The currents so generated are thought to be of therapeutic value.
